Serrels Painters Pty Ltd was built on one simple belief: painting should be done properly — the first time.
With 13 years of hands-on industry experience, I founded this company to raise the standard of workmanship in both residential and commercial painting. Much of our early work focused on post-handover maintenance for new builds, where we have successfully completed rectification and improvement works on more than 60 homes across two regions.
We specialise in identifying where standards have fallen short and delivering finishes that meet the level homeowners expected from day one.
Our work now extends well beyond maintenance. We have delivered interior and exterior projects for Anytime Fitness locations, including full spray applications for new openings and large-scale exterior works. We’ve been involved in retail shops, high-end residential homes, multi-unit developments, and are currently pricing multi-million-dollar commercial residential projects.
We approach every project — large or small — with the same mindset: meticulous planning, structured execution, and quality that lasts.
How we Operate
At Serrels Painters, we are structured for performance.
Our site operations are led by a supervisor with over 25 years of industry experience who manages site liaison and acts as the responsible person in charge. A dedicated lead painter coordinates crews to ensure productivity stays high and schedules are met. Supporting this structure is a site liaison with a Master’s in Business Technology who monitors productivity rates and reports directly to management.
This system allows projects to run efficiently without unnecessary delays or cost blowouts.
Rather than relying solely on subcontractors, we utilise vetted recruitment painters and labourers. This provides builders and clients with peace of mind — ensuring guaranteed manpower on time-sensitive and high-value projects without inflating pricing to cover absenteeism or lost productivity. It’s a small insurance that protects timelines and protects budgets.
My role is strategic. I am not on site to micromanage — I am there to support, plan, and improve systems. I trust the leaders I’ve chosen to drive performance. However, as a licensed painting contractor holding both individual and company painting licensing and an EWP licence, police checked with AFP as all our staff and holding a safety white card I can step into any role when required.
